講座人簡(jiǎn)介：Dr. Changsong Zhou, Department ofPhysics (2007-present); Director of Centre for Nonlinear Studies, Hong KongBaptist University (HKBU). He obtained his doctoral degree at NankaiUniversity, Tianjin, and served as Postdoctoral Fellow at National Universityof Singapore (1997-1999), Visiting Research Scholar at HKBU (1999-2000) andResearch Scientist at University of Potsdam, Germany (2000-2007). Dr. Zhou’sresearch interest is analysis and modeling of dynamical processes on complexsystems. His current emphasis is on analysis and modeling activity in neuralsystems in close collaboration with several experimental neuroscientists, usingthe approaches of oscillatory dynamics networks, covering broad scales fromnetwork of neurons to interacting functional brain regions. Dr. Zhou hasauthored one monograph and more than 90 refereed papers, including 1 in PNAS, 2in Physics Reports, and 9 in Physical Review Letters. His work has been citedmore than 5000 times with an h-index 30.
