講座人簡(jiǎn)介：

史峻平，美國(guó)威廉瑪麗學(xué)院 (College of William & Mary) 數(shù)學(xué)系主任，教授。1990-1993年在南開(kāi)大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)，1998年畢業(yè)于美國(guó)楊百翰大學(xué)，獲博士學(xué)位。主要研究方向?yàn)槠⒎址匠?，?dòng)力系統(tǒng)，分歧理論，非線性泛函分析，生物數(shù)學(xué)。在偏微分方程，分歧理論方面的研究工作受到國(guó)際上廣泛重視。在生物數(shù)學(xué)方向包括種群模型，生物化學(xué)反應(yīng)，形態(tài)生成，生態(tài)系統(tǒng)穩(wěn)定性等方面都有研究。曾任哈爾濱師范大學(xué)龍江學(xué)者講座教授，主持參加美國(guó)國(guó)家科學(xué)基金會(huì)基金項(xiàng)目多項(xiàng)，主持組織國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)會(huì)議20多次，在國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)會(huì)議做大會(huì)報(bào)告/邀請(qǐng)報(bào)告100余次。擔(dān)任多個(gè)國(guó)際知名SCI刊物編委，為80多種數(shù)學(xué)、物理、生物刊物審稿人。發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文160余篇，其中被SCI收錄140余篇，被SCI雜志引用3000余次（它引2700余次）。

講座簡(jiǎn)介：

The reduction principle for structured population model states that fast dispersal will reduce the growth rate for a spatially distributed population. This reduction principle is proved in two different ways: one using graph theoretical method, and the one using analytic method. Applications of the reduction principle are shown for scalar model, competition model and predator-prey model. This is a joint work with Shanshan Chen, Zhisheng Shuai and Yixiang Wu.
