講座內(nèi)容簡介：

Topology and order are two of the fundamental mathematical structures. The study of the interlinks between these two structures has got a long history and has led to the creation of some rich theories in mathematics, such as the Stone duality and Priestly duality, locales and frames as well as C*-algebras. With the birth of domain theory in 1970’s, more links between nonclassical topological spaces and general partially ordered sets have been uncovered. In this talk, we will present some such links with regard to the Scott closed set lattices of posets and models of T₁ topological spaces, including their background, recent development and some problems.

講座人簡介：

趙東升，新加坡南洋理工大學教授，博士生導師。國際著名數(shù)學教育研究組織SMAPP的聯(lián)合首席研究員。 1981年畢業(yè)于陜西師范大學數(shù)學系，次年在陜西師范大學王國俊先生指導下攻讀拓撲專業(yè)碩士學位。1988年赴英國劍橋大學攻讀博士，師從英國著名數(shù)學家Peter Johnstone，1992年獲得劍橋大學博士學位。1993年至今在新加坡南洋理工大學國立教育學院從事教學研究。研究領域有拓撲學，Domain理論，實分析等。研究成果卓著，在《Mathematical Proceedings of the Cambridge Philosophical Society》、《Fundamenta Mathematicae》、《Canadian Mathematical Bulletin》、《Topology and its Applications》、《Houstone Journal of Mathematics》、《Rocky Mountain Journal of Mathematics》、《Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society》、《Applied Categorical Structures》、《Quaestiones Mathematicae》、《Commentationes Mathematicae Universitatis Carolinae》等數(shù)學知名期刊上發(fā)表論文70余篇，其中一篇論文獲2000年ISI經(jīng)典引文獎（Citation Classic Award），是中國首批獲得此獎的17位數(shù)學家之一。
