講座人簡介：Professor Liping A. Cai is the Director ofPurdue Tourism and Hospitality Research Center in the School of Hospitality andTourism Management and Associate Dean of Purdue University’s College of Health& Human Sciences, governor-appointee to Indiana Tourism Council, and thesenior academic advisor to Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Travel & TourismIndustry Center for the study of outbound China market, the Director andco-founder of Purdue University China Center.

He studies branding and consumer experiencesand behaviors in travel and tourism. He is the author and co-author of morethan 200 refereed papers published in scholarly journals and proceedings ofinternational conferences. His research expertise includes destination andhotel branding, rural tourism development and marketing, and behavioral andpsychographic profiling of tourism consumers. He serves on the editorial boardsof the Journal of Travel Research, the Journal of Hospitality MarketingManagement, Tourism Management, Tourism Analysis, and Journal of VacationMarketing. He is North America regional editor for the Journal of China TourismResearch.
